Parker Pneumatic has extended its global range of air preparation products with the introduction of the new modular One Inch FRL (Filter/Regulator/Lubricator) series. Few air preparation equipment manufacturers bring modularity to an FRL with 3/4 inch to 1 1/2 inch pipe sizes. As a result, the One Inch FRL can be removed from an installation without disturbing the plumbing, making maintenance cost-efficient and easy.
This modularity also allows users to stock on one unit and add inexpensive port adapter plates for 3/4 inch, 1 inch or 1 1/2 inch pipes.
Another advantage of the One Inch FRL is the addition of a Filter/Regulator piggyback unit.
By combining two units into one, the One Inch FRL saves space and lowers unit costs.
The filter and lubricator bowls are fixed in place using a 'one touch' quick release that assures seal integrity and makes it easier to replace filter elements or add lubrication.
Features of the new One Inch modular FRL include manual and automatic drains for evacuation of filter bowl water build up, a robust piston design for the regulator, and non-rising removable regulator knobs to ensure tamper resistance.
