Camozzi has introduced into its product portfolio a lockable safety ball valve for use as an on-off valve for pneumatic systems. In the off position, downstream air is exhausted through a vent hole in the valve body, eliminating the danger of pressurised air remaining in the system after shut-off. The locking feature allows maintenance or setting activities be carried out safely on the system and prevents the air supply being reactivated inadvertently.
The valve body is constructed of nickel-plated brass and the range will be available in port sizes of ¼", 3/8", ½" and 1".
