Telecomms boards approved for Malaysia
Aculab has gained host independent approval from the Malaysian telecomms authority for its Prosody X PCI media processing resource card and the E1/T1 cPCI card with 16 trunks.
Aculab, a leading provider of enabling technology for the communications market, has gained host independent approval from the Malaysian telecomms authority (under the TPS-013-01 approvals standard), for its Prosody X PCI media processing resource card and the E1/T1 cPCI card with 16 trunks. This adds to the extensive portfolio of approvals Aculab has already gained worldwide, which has eased the implementation and rollout of enabling technology-based products on a global basis. Aculab cards can now be installed in Malaysia without the host computer having to undergo repeat telecommunication approvals testing with the national telco for that system.
The design of the systems for connection to public networks is also accelerated considerably.
Aculab products are marked with an appropriate label that helps safeguard developers in deploying correctly approved products.
Commenting on the approval, Chris Gravett, Sales and Marketing Director at Aculab said: 'We are delighted to have received this approval, which reflects our continued commitment to customers in Malaysia, enabling them to save money and enjoy a faster time to market'.
