The device supports an extensive range of applications, including system simulation, test/ quality control, calibration, field troubleshooting and product demonstrations. Each test box is customized with fiber lengths from 100 m to 100 km. When daisy-chained together, the boxes can emulate a simplex or duplex system of any length and support all trans_mission speeds through OC-192.
