Seminars explain novel 10Gbit/s cabling design

Brand-Rex has unveiled plans for 10G seminar road shows and new sales support tools for approved resellers.

Following the successful launch of Brand-Rex's new 10 gigabit Ethernet cabling solution 10GPlus, the structured cabling systems manufacturer has unveiled plans for 10G seminar road shows and new sales support tools for approved resellers. A series of global launch road shows is in full swing, with venues in Holland, Belgium, Austria, Italy and Denmark having already taken place. Two dates for UK seminars have just been released; they are 4th July in Manchester and 6th July in London.

Similar events in Spain, Ireland and the UAE will follow throughout the Summer.

Brand-Rex resellers, customers and consultants are expected to attend the events which will cover the 10 Gigabit Ethernet platform and 10G Base-T protocol, as well as giving a technical overview of the 10GPlus system offering.

Brand-Rex has also launched a new 10GPlus launch brochure and datasheet folder to support the new cabling system, as well as product sample presentation box sets for resellers and prospective clients.

The sophisticated black presentation boxes contain the new 'reuleaux' shaped shielded and unshielded cable, the shape was chosen in minimise the cable's diameter whilst fully addressing the issues of alien crosstalk (AXT); a shielded and unshielded jack; a blade patch cord and a 10GPlus pen.

In addition, more comprehensive product sample cases have been produced as visual aids for key customers and Brand-Rex global sales teams alike.

Brand-Rex's new 10 Gigabit Ethernet cabling solution is the most innovative cabling system in the marketplace today.

The system is also one of the first to be classified as an Augmented Category 6/Class EA product set.

Fully backward compatible with Cat6 (Class E) and Cat5e (Class D) solutions, the new system is also designed to comply with the forthcoming IEC Class EA and TIA 568B.2-10 standards that support the new 10GBase-T Ethernet protocol.

The 10GPlus family is covered by seven separate patent applications and is the result of more than 4000 man-hours of research and development by Brand-Rex engineers.
