MPC Computers introduces the ClientPro 375 desktop
MPC Computers, a wholly owned subsidiary of HyperSpace Communications, Inc. (Amex: HCO), today announced the ClientPro 375 desktop computer. The new ClientPro 375 features the Balanced Technology Extended (BTX) form factor, which results in a cooler, quieter chassis design. Additionally, the ClientPro 375 also delivers enhanced management features by utilizing Intel's new Active Management Technology (AMT) hardware and optional LANDesk software technologies, which provide improved asset management and hardware security.
"This new desktop system empowers customers to better manage and support their technology investment through the utilization of Intel's AMT hardware, LANDesk's management technologies, and the new BTX form factor," said Paul Petersen, MPC's vice president of product marketing and development. "The ClientPro 375 will become MPC's mainstream, scalable desktop."
The ClientPro 375's BTX chassis supports Intel's Quiet Cooling Technology, in which the system's fan speed is automatically adjusted depending on the internal chassis temperature. In addition, high volume fans spin at a slower rate resulting in improved system acoustics and more efficient cooling. The unique airflow design of the BTX chassis features a ducted airflow, which directly cools the highest heat-producing components of the system. For example, the new design positions the CPU and chipset for direct cooling, eliminating the need for a fan on the CPU heat sink.
