Serial-to-Ethernet converters provide either Fast Ethernet fiber interface or 10/100Mbps Ethernet copper interface and are offered in 4 model families. Models supporting RS-422/485 are capable of 2-wire half-duplex or 4-wire full-duplex asynchronous data transmission. Device servers also provide distributed and scalable solution with 256 virtual COM ports control from one device and are remotely manageable via Telnet, Web browser, or command line interface.

These serial-to-Ethernet converters enable customers to integrate existing serial-based devices into their Ethernet networks located in either the office environment or on the factory floor.
